It’s Father’s Day, a day when families worldwide celebrate the fathers in their lives. For many, this is a great day filled with fond memories, laughter, and gratitude. It’s a day we celebrate the big and often small things our fathers did for each of us.
However, for some, this day can be challenging. Many grew up either not knowing their father or simply not having a positive father figure in their lives. But remember, as Believers, we have the assurance that our Heavenly Father always has our best interest in mind. He’s there for us, even when everything seems to fall apart. He’s always working on our behalf to bring about the good plans he has prepared long ago. No matter your situation growing up, know that your Heavenly Father is good and always has your back.
I encourage you to take time today to celebrate the father figure(s) in your life! More importantly, let’s recognize the ultimate father, our Heavenly Father.
